HIROMIX - Hiromix Works

$110.00

First edition, 2000, Rockin’ On, Japan

Hiromix is a Japanese photographer and artist who entered the spotlight in March of 1995 by winning the 11th Comos of Photography (写真新世紀, Shashin-Shin-Seiki). She was nominated by legendary photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, for a series of photographs called Seventeen Girl Days. Since then, she has been pushed by Araki as well as legendary photographer Takashi Homma to capture her life of traveling, food, music, friends, and fashion.

HIROMIX WORKS is a compilation of full-color photographs taken from 1995 to 1999, during the time where she was also working as a photographer for ‘Rockin’ On’, a Japanese bi-monthly music magazine. Hiromix personally dedicates her collection of works to mentors Takashi Homma and Nobuyoshi Araki at the end of the book.
