Hiromix is a Japanese photographer and artist who entered the spotlight in March of 1995 by winning the 11th Cosmos of Photography (写真新世紀, Shashin Shin-seiki). She was nominated by legendary photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, for a series of photographs called Seventeen Girl Days.
In this book, she follows and captures young fashion designer Keita Maruyama’s fashion shows and collection shoots. The way Hiromix is able to capture such simple photos but make it look fun, airy, and full of life, is why she is able to be an artist in various avenues of creativity.
