Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) is an American supernatural horror film directed by John Boorman and is the sequel to William Friedkin's The Exorcist (1973). Set four years after the original film, the story follows Regan MacNeil, now a teenager recovering from her previous demonic possession, as Father Philip Lamont investigates the death of Father Merrin and the possible return of the demon Pazuzu.

Starring Linda Blair, Richard Burton, Louise Fletcher, and Max von Sydow, the film features a score by Ennio Morricone.
