Vol. 39 of ‘H’ Magazine features actress/artist Nakatani Miki and artist Kahimi Karie. Nakatani Miki began her professional career as a member of the girl group "Sakurakko Club.” Nakatani focused on acting after she departed from the band, making her debut on the popular television drama Under the Same Roof. Mari Hiki, better known by her stage name Kahimi Karie (カヒミ・カリィ), is a Japanese singer, songwriter and photographer. Her music is closely associated with the Shibuya-kei aesthetic. Karie sings in English, French, and Japanese, among other languages.

A wide spread of photographers featuring Nakatani Miki and Kahimi Karie is the focus of this volume. Though in some pages, you will Yoshitomo Nara featured, as well as Hiromix photographing Banana Yoshimoto and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s daughter, Miu Sakamoto.
